Aboriginal Centre of Winnipeg

The Aboriginal Centre of Winnipeg Inc. (ACWI) was incorporated in October 1990 to realize the goal of providing a centre that promotes the social, educational and entrepreneurial growth of the Aboriginal community in the City of Winnipeg. The ACWI is a not for profit corporation controlled and operated by a board of directors comprised of community based organizations that offer services and development opportunities for Aboriginal people in the City of Winnipeg.

Aboriginal Council

Established in 1990, the Council is driven by the belief that the interests of the urban community would be better served by an organization that can address issues free from historically imposed legal distinctions.

Aboriginal Single Window

The Aboriginal Single Window initiative is intended to provide one-stop-shop service to organizations and individuals who need access to government funded Aboriginal programs, to make information about these programs easier to obtain, and to foster improved cooperation and information sharing between the various levels of government and Aboriginal organizations.

ARCnet

ARCnet is the resource centre for finding and promoting Aboriginal-Canadian businesses and organizations. Listings are always free.
