Through the commissioning division, CAHRD extends its Labor Market Development Service by contracting outside community agencies and institutions to provide training and employment opportunities to Aboriginal people.

Some of the programs that are funded through our commissioning division include Anishnaabe Oway-ish, Urban Circle, Recreation Technician 3, Woodworking/Carpentry Apprenticeship Program, TIG Welding, Manitoba Aerospace Human Resources Coordinator.

Between February 2003-February 2004, CAHRD Commissioning funded programs or services for 1405 individuals.
